I remember watching The Man Called Flintstone over and over again as a child (we taped it off TV.). It was one of my favorite childhood movies. The Man Called Flintstone has great songs and a lot of imagination. It's the type of movie that you could put on for your child and not worry about adult humor, innuendo, or anything inappropriate for a youngster. It's clean wholesomeness is refreshing and adults can even enjoy this movie. My family and I have been waiting for it's re-release for years. Can't wait to pop it in, degress to younger days, and enjoy a great movie.

I have fond memories of seeing this at the cinema firstly circa 1967 and 1971. It was a great thrill to see Fred and Barney on the big screen. It also marked the first time I saw them in colour as I only had black and white tv in 1967. My abiding memory is seeing Wilma carrying the Columbia torch. The plot might be old hat, ths songs not worthy of the Sherman Brothers but is a nice big screen souvenier of a show which was utter magic and still is. Miles better than all the subsequent spin-offs which made you yearn to see the original series. The Green Goose seemed quite scary to me as a seven year old.
