Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! (23-Jan-2004)

Director: Robert Luketic

Writer: Victor Levin

Music Composed and Conducted by: Edward Shearmur

Producers: Douglas Wick; Lucy Fisher

Keywords: Romantic Comedy

A contest to win a date with a popular male celebrity leads to an awkward love triangle between the star, winning contestant, and her best friend.

ABSTRACT
Rosalee Futch, a small-town young woman and grocery store clerk in West Virginia, enters -- and wins -- a contest to go on a date with Hollywood "bad boy" Tad Hamilton, a turn of events that draws the ire of co-worker and friend Pete. Pete, a young man wont to admiring Rosalee from afar, finds his worst nightmare realized when Hamilton strikes up a genuine romantic connection with her, something that presents an equally-nightmarish quandary for manager Richard Levy when his client expresses an interest in abandoning his old lifestyle.
