A young FBI operative squares off against his boss, a veteran agent suspected of spying for Russian intelligence.

ABSTRACT
Newly-minted FBI employee Eric O'Neill is tasked with going undercover as a clerk for veteran agent Robert Hanssen, told to gather dirt on his sexual proclivities. Eric's mission reveals nothing out of the ordinary regarding Robert's personal life; he finds that he is a devout Catholic, a family man, and evidently committed to his work. Further questioning results in agent Kate Burroughs revealing to Eric that Hanssen is a mole pawning state secrets off on the Russian government, a shocking truth that pushes Eric toward exposing a man who would later be named "the worst spy in American history" despite their thriving friendship.
