FORTHEM
FORTHEM Alliance is a European University network, supported by the European Commission, bringing together nine European universities. FORTHEM has been in operation since 2019, from the very first call for proposals. The Alliance received the funding decision for the second funding period in July 2022.The total EU funding for the consortium for four years (1.11.2022-31.10.2026) is 14.4 million euros, of which the University of Jyväskylä's share is approximately 2.3 million euros. The aim of the EU funding is to embed the activities and forms of cooperation of the alliance into the core activities of the partner universities.
FORTHEM for students
University of Jyväskylä is one of the partner universities in the FORTHEM Alliance. You can study abroad, take part in short-term mobility or complete an internship abroad thanks to our collaboration. You can also take part in volunteer projects or become a member in the international FORTHEM Student Council. Also multidisciplinary expert teams and online courses are available for you.
