India International Exchange IFSC Limited (INDIA INX) is a subsidiary of the BSE Limited.

INDIA INX is regulated by International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA),, the unified authority for the development and regulation of financial products, financial services and financial institutions in the International Financial Services Centres (IFSC) in India. The IFSCA was established on April 27, 2020 under the International Financial Services Centres Authority Act, 2019.

IFSCA aims to develop a strong global connect and focus on the needs of the Indian economy as well as to serve as an international financial platform for the entire region and the global economy as a whole.
IFSCA is an Associate Member of International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), the international organization that brings together the world's securities regulators and is the global standard setter for the securities sector. This association with IOSCO provides IFSCA the platform to exchange information at the global and regional levels on areas of common interests and best practices.

Until the establishment of IFSCA, INDIA INX was regulated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the securities market regulator in India, which was established in 1992 in accordance with the provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992.

INDIA INX had received the final approval from Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on December 30, 2016.
