The Centre for the Study of African Economies hosts Oxford's weekly seminars in development economics. The series is split between CSAE Lunchtime Seminars and CSAE Research Workshops, covering a range of economic and social development topics from across the globe.
The CSAE Lunchtime Seminars run every Wednesday from 12:30 – 2pm during term time and feature researchers from around the world discussing topics relevant to economic and social development. The seminars are open to the public.
THE CSAE RESEARCH WORKSHOPS RUN EVERY TUESDAY FROM 1-2PM DURING TERM TIME SHOWCASING THE IN-PROGRESS WORK OF CSAE RESEARCHERS AND AFFILIATES. THE WORKSHOPS ARE FOR CSAE AND UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD MEMBERS ONLY.
THE SERIES IS COORDINATED BY NICLAS MONEKE (DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS) AND STEFAN DERCON (BLAVATNIK SCHOOL OF GOVERNMENT).
