Remove contentadmin rights

Hi Bryan, please remove my local contentadmin rights. I do not need them very often and I can use my GS rights if there are any emergency situations. Thanks, --Ameisenigel (talk) 11:18, 22 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Archiving SAL pages

Hello. Looking at MABot logs', and with regards to this edit (and other SAL pages), I'm afraid archivebot.py does not yet support archiving non-level 2 threads. Such feature was requested at task T119791 though. The script also expects a timestamp to know which threads are to be archived ("|algo = old()"). As such, I'm afraid MABot won't be able to archive these log pages nowadays. Best regards,  MarcoAurelio (talk) 12:33, 27 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for pointing me to that issue @MarcoAurelio. I did not really think deeply about how the archivebot script works before I slapped that archive template on those pages. It sounds like I need to look for or invent a different solution for SAL archiving. It might not be unreasonable to make this a feature request for Stashbot itself as the thing that makes SAL pages grow and grow and grow.
I will try to track down and remove the unactionable marker templates that are currently on SAL pages. -- BryanDavis (talk) 15:38, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
