Original RATT vocalist Stephen Pearcy is back with a vengeance and on Monday, March 27th, will be performing RATT’s greatest hits at the Key Club in Hollywood like they’ve never been heard before? acoustically!
It’s "Metal Skool" night and Pearcy plans to engage the class in a little lesson chockfull of tasty acoustic RATT? and if he has anything to say about it, it’ll be served well done.
With a selection of numerous well-known hits to choose from such as "Round and Round," "Lay It Down," "Back For More," "Way Cool Jr.," "Wanted Man," "Shame Shame Shame," "Lovin’ You’s A Dirty Job" and "Nobody Rides For Free," RATT fanatics will, undoubtedly, be in for a special treat as part of a performance that will be recorded for a CD to be released on Sidewinder Music on May 9th (hot on the heels of the much anticipated RATT Behind the Music VH-1 special initially airing May 6th).
For a limited time only, fans that buy the Metal Mania Stripped Across America Live! DVD (which features Pearcy singing an acoustic rendition of "Back For More") directly from the www.metalmaniastripped.com website will receive two tickets to this one-time performance on Monday, March 27th, at the Key Club in Hollywood.
Joining Stephen on stage for the show will be guitarist Frank Wilsey, guitarist Eric Ferentinos, bassist Chuck Wright (Quiet Riot) and Scott Coogan (Brides of Destruction).
And, of course, there’s always the possibility of unexpected guests!
Let’s face it? few, if any, bands could rock like RATT and it was that distinctive sound and swagger that led to four consecutive platinum albums beginning with their 1984 debut, Out of the Cellar (which sold over 3 million copies), followed by Invasion of Your Privacy (1985), Dancing Undercover (1986) and Reach for the Sky (1988).
The culmination of those efforts and their last studio album – Detonator (1990) – resulted in a greatest hits compilation titled, RATT and Roll 8191.
Selling over eighteen million albums worldwide and performing nearly a 1000 shows with RATT, Pearcy was the driving force behind one of metal’s finest bands.
At the end of the day, it’s all about RATT and ROLL for Pearcy, who likes to go "Round and Round" any chance he gets? and on March 27th and May 9th, he’ll be coming at you acoustically!
Won’t you please join us for some rodent at its finest?
