Transformers/Ghostbusters

As the Ghostbusters chased down a tentacled ghost, their vehicle, the Ecto-1 fell into a sinkhole caused by the spirit. After assuring themselves that the car was fine, the quartet whipped out their proton packs to combat the ghost, Ray using a ghost trap to contain the specter. That done, the team returned their attention to the problem of their sunken car only to find a duplicate sitting on the grass. Before Egon could explain some odd readings from the duplicate car, Starscream's ghost appeared and asked the humans to leave the area so he could speak to the Autobot in private whereupon Ray deployed the ghost trap to suck him up. As Winston asked what an "Autobot" was, the duplicate car transformed into a robot and revealed he was an Autobot. Ghosts of Cybertron Part 1

Introducing himself as Ectronymous Diamatron, the robot asked for the ghost trap to be shut off, on the basis that it was interfering with a signal he was tracking. As the others debated, Ray approached Ectronymous and explained why they couldn't do that. Believing the ghost had been nothing more than a hologram, Ectronymous overrode the trap and freed Starscream's spirit, who instantly began attacking the Ghostbusters. Undeterred, Ray rallied his friends to the task and looked forward to a long and illuminating discussion with Ectronymous about the diverse varieties of potential spectral manifestations, before the Seeker called for a parlay with the Autobot, Ray allowing it on the basis that they could re-trap Starscream easily. Telling his story, Starscream explained that Cybertron had been under siege by Gozer but Starscream was spared destruction by a being called Kremzeek who proceeded to enslave the ghostly Decepticons, the Seeker managing to escape to Earth. The Ghostbusters instantly found something off about the story before Egon picked up a strange PKE reading, a Kremzeek then manifesting in a bolt of supernatural lighting. Though Venkman threw down a ghost trap, the sprite overloaded it near-instantly, with Starscream claiming it had to be destroyed. Once the Kremzeek had been dissipated, Ray haggled a ride back to the firehouse from Ectronymous in exchange for the spare parts he needed to repair his communicator. Ghosts of Cybertron Part 2

Back at the firehouse, Ectronymous was re-dubbed "Ectotron" by the astonishingly blunt and shameless Janine Melnitz with Ray assuring his new friend not to dwell on the secretary for too long before they got to work. The problem was readily solvable, being but a loose connection, and Ectotron managed to contact the Ark, summoning Optimus Prime. As they waited for the Autobot leader, a call came in about a ghost terrorizing Brooklyn, Ectotron pulling another shift as the Ecto-1. When they arrived, Egon detected a signature similar to Kremzeek, Ray remaining behind with Ego and Ectotron to modify a ghost trap to better contain the spirit. When Winston and Venkman flushed out the ghost it proved able to draw power from the power grid, being stopped when Ectotron destroyed a transmission pole, allowing Ray to trap it. When the group returned to the firehouse, they found Optimus Prime waiting for them, and that Starscream had been freed from Venkman's ghost trap. Ghosts of Cybertron Part 3

Relocating to their Red Hook warehouse, Ray suspected a power surge had freed Starscream as he worked on creating Autobot-sized Ghostbusting gear before Egon picked up Starscream's PKE signature. Arriving at the Grosbeak Generating Station, Egon picked up a second PKE signature before Starscream appeared, the Ghostbusters wrapping him in their proton streams before he was freed by Kremzeek the Scavenger, who proceeded to then absorb Starscream. The would-be Class 7 revealed that he sought the AllSpark to become as powerful as Gozer, surprising Ray with his dramatic speech, before everyone wrapped him in proton streams which the Scavenger shattered in short order. The being then turned his attention to Optimus Prime, opting to beat him to death for the AllSpark's location, leaving everyone else to mastermind a solution. Though Egon suggested shutting down the power plant, Ray noted that Kremzeek's spectrum reading was still too high and they should consider dispersing him until they could create a more effective means of containment. It was then that Ectotron revealed that he had the ghost from the other night, its trap left in his vehicle mode. Enthusiastic, Ray explained that the two electrical beings would short them both out, for a few months at least, before Optimus yelled at him to release it. Flipping the switch, Ray released the specter which functioned exactly as he had predicted, praising Coulomb's law (and engaging in a discussion with Egon on how the law applied to spectral entities) before it was revealed that the ghosts of Decepticon High Command had been freed from Kremzeek's being. Ghosts of Cybertron Part 4

While Soundwave and Shockwave were quickly detained, though the former's defeat leaving Ray covered in ectoplasmic slime, Starscream managed to flee the planet and a blow from Optimus sent Megatron tumbling back into Ectotron, taking control of his body. As the possessed Autobot dueled Optimus, the Ghostbusters debated ideas, and Egon's morality, before Venkman noticed Ray's canister of mood slime. As Optimus held Ectotron down, Ray poured the mood slime down his throat, expelling the Decepticon leader's ghost. When Megatron tried to possess Optimus, Ectotron was quick to restrain him with Ray sealing the warlord in a ghost trap. In the aftermath, the Autobots left Earth, taking the Decepticon ghosts with them, with Ectotron announcing that he would be traveling the galaxy to search for more Cybertronian ghosts. Though Ray was eager at the prospect of encountering ghosts in space, his teammates stepped on his dreams, noting that they had enough troubles to deal with on Earth. Ghosts of Cybertron Part 5
