Natiltec

The Natiltec are a prehistoric human tribe whose story was recorded in pictographs on the walls of a cave under the Labná ruins in Mexico. A tribe of proud warriors, their gods included the sun goddess Chinatlitni.

Fire in the Dark

The Natiltec originally dwelt on the banks of the river Ilchixtil in the "old world". After two "god-vessels" crashed from the sky, the Natiltec encountered strange animal gods in the form of mammals and reptiles and insects. Though the Beast Wars avoided interference with the Natiltec for some time, the Predacons eventually invaded their village and defeated their best warriors.

Once Megatron had asserted his superiority, he assigned Tarantulas and Waspinator to take some of the enslaved Natiltec to mine energon in a cave. One young warrior managed to escape from the cave, and encountered Silverbolt. The Maximal raced to the cave and attacked the two Predacons, allowing the Natiltec to escape, even as the cave collapsed.

The Natiltec would later embark on an eventful journey through time and space, before settling in the Yucatan area of Mexico. The young warrior who encountered Silverbolt subsequently inscribed their story on the walls of a cave there. Fire in the Dark
