The name or term "Abominus" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Abominus (disambiguation).
Abominus is a Predacon combiner from the Prime portion of the Aligned continuity family.

If any of these guys were revived in Predacons Rising, they would be both kinds of Terrorcon at once!

The combined form of five cloned Predacons, Abominus is the result of Shockwave's questionably logical hypothesis that giving dangerous prehistoric creatures the ability to merge into a bigger dangerous prehistoric creature might make them easier to control. Instead, Abominus is an unstoppable engine of destruction with enormous power. Who could have predicted that?

He is the combined form of:

  • Twinstrike (Cyberverse Legion Class, 2013)
  • Hun-Gurrr (Cyberverse Legion Class, 2013)
  • Windrazor (Cyberverse Legion Class, 2013)
  • Predacon Rippersnapper (Cyberverse Legion Class, 2013)
  • Blight (Cyberverse Legion Class, 2013)
    • Accessories: Piston Hammer, Dragontooth Saw, Tornado Bow, Electrocharge Bow, Affliction Hammer
While this combination is not documented in their instructions, Prime: Beast Hunters Abominus is formed by combining the five Predacons, who were available separately in the first three waves of Series 3 Cyberverse Legion Class toys. Hun-Gurrr forms the torso, Twinstrike and Windrazor can form either arm, and Predacon Rippersnapper and Blight can form either leg (official art places Twinstrike and Blight on the left and Windrazor and Rippersnapper on the right). Their individual weapons can combine in many different ways to form larger weapons for Abominus to wield via 3 mm post. Abominus deviates from his G1 counterpart in that his arm and leg components are inverted.
Abominus was redecoed into Go! Goradora, while Abominus's limbs are redecoed as four of The Last Knight Infernocus's components: Thrash, Rupture, Gorge, and Glug.

  • Abominus (Giftset, 2013)
    • Accessories: Dragontooth Saw, Tornado Bow, Electrocharge Bow, Piston Hammer, Affliction Hammer
Part of the Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising subline imprint, Abominus is a giftset of Cyberverse Hun-Gurrr, Windrazor, Predacon Rippersnapper, Twinstrike, and Blight, slightly redecoed by way of translucent plastic replacing a main color of each character, as well as translucent purple weapons.
The back of the packaging mistakenly switches their names, resulting in Hun-Gurrr getting Twinstrike's name, Windrazor getting Hun-Gurrr's, Rippersnapper getting Windrazor's, and Twinstrike being called "Predacon Rippersnapper". Guess Blight got lucky.
This set was a Target exclusive in the United States and Canada, a Tesco exclusive in the United Kingdom, a Carrefour exclusive in France, a Ripley exclusive in Chile, and a Toys"R"Us exclusive in Australia much later, in late 2014.

Kre-O

  • Abominus (Micro-Changer Combiner, 2013)
    • Set number: A4473
    • Pieces: 85
Part of the second wave of Kreon Micro-Changer combiner sets, Abominus comes as a set of four component Kreons, which can be built into their robot modes, their beast modes, or they can be built into Abominus by taking them apart and combining their pieces. Abominus gets to wield Hun-Gurrr's axe and Windrazor's sword.
Like the entire Micro Changer combiner sets, Abominus comes with only one Kre-O display brick, and a sticker sheet composed of his leg detailing and a Kre-O logo. Due to the leg stickers being slightly transparent, applying them into the black-colored leg parts can render the details being semi-transparent. The instructions also did not mention on where you should put the Kre-O logo sticker. Also, Abominus's combined mode's waist part is somehow prone to falling off from the assembly while posing, and he has a problem standing straight due to how the legs are constructed.
As Kreon combiners only involve four components, poor Blight ended up as a Series 2 blind-bagged figure. While his individual components are based on their Prime series incarnations, Abominus himself has details directly taken from the original Abominus, namely his chestplate. Abominus's helmet is shown as purple in promotional images, and dark-red on the packaging and promo images of Hun-Gurrr. The actual helmet that comes with the set is a light-gray color. Oddly, his packaging art render and stop-motion commercial appearance omit the sticker that forms the lower half of the chestplate, the more obviously-Generation-1-looking part.
