[edit] Marvel The Transformers comics

After tracking down a wanted man with his partner Felix, the local law enforcement pointed the pair to a poster from the Z Foundation offering $50,000 for the capture of any Transformer. Felix and Skunge decided to relocate to New York City to take them up on it. Once there, they met with two other bounty-hunters who had agreed to track down Cybertronians: Burn-Out and Randy Horton. The group, dubbed the "Road-Jammers" by their new employers, were given jammer devices to incapacitate their prey and directed to the Shawungunk Mountains. The Z foundation's directions led the Road-Jammers directly to a trio of Autobots, freshly arrived from Cybertron. Skunge's target was especially easy to spot, as Backstreet's alternate mode had a distinctly alien look to it. Skunge casually barred the Autobots' path, standing still until Backstreet was in range of his jammer, which he used to lock the Autobot in place. The rest of the Road-Jammers were equally successful in securing their targets. Before they were brought to the Z Foundation's headquarters, the captured Autobots managed to convince the bounty hunters that they were being duped by the Decepticons into doing their dirty work for them.

The Autobots' accusations turned out to be accurate; Skunge and the other Road-Jammers found three headless Decepticon bodies in the Z Foundation's parking lot upon their return. Those who had hired them, Mr. K, Mr. B, and Mr. L, revealed their true nature as Headmasters and combined with the bodies to form Fangry, Horri-Bull, and Squeezeplay. However, the Decepticons were instantly incapacitated by Felix, who had successfully duplicated the jammer technology. Finally, the secretive Mr. Z made an appearance to reveal that he too was a closet Decepticon and summoned the mighty Scorponok to dispose of the Road-Jammers once and for all. They were saved by Felix's ingenuity as he remote-controlled Sizzle, Fizzle, Backstreet, and the Decepticon Headmasters to defeat Scorponok by sheer weight of numbers, causing Mr. Z to activate his anti-jammer. No longer incapacitated, the Autobots drove the Roadjammers to safety but once they had left, Felix revealed to Skunge and the others that he had managed to construct another jammer. Armed with it, the Road-Jammers were eager to continue their pursuit of Transformers for money. Ca$h and Car-nage!
