(2021-07-13)   Sandwich Theorem   (Squeeze Theorem)
A function sandwiched between two functions of limits  L  has limit  L.

The bracketing functions may be seen as two cops preventing a prisoner from escaping his fate.  Alternative names of the theorem may reflect this picture.  The  police theoremthéorème des gendarmes (French).  teorema dei due carabinieri (Italian).  Etc.

Proving this useful little theorem is a good opportunity to practice the  epsilon-delta  definition of a limit.
