The mission of the Department’s Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Program is to grow a diverse workforce and cultivate an inclusive work environment, where employees are fully engaged and empowered to deliver the outstanding services to our Nation’s Veterans, their families and beneficiaries.

It is our vision that VA is the leader in public service in creating a high-performing workforce by capitalizing on its diversity, purposefully embracing inclusion, and empowering all employees to perform to their highest potential.

To file an EEO discrimination complaint, you must contact the Office of Resolution Management, Diversity and Inclusion (ORMDI) at 1-888-566-3982 within 45 calendar days of the date of the alleged discriminatory incident. The Office of Employment Discrimination Complaint Adjudication is responsible for issuing final agency decisions on employment discrimination complaints.

To report harassment, (1) contact your internal departmental resources, including but not limited to your first-line supervisor or the next level in your supervisory chain, if the harassment involves your supervisor; (2) contact the local Harassment Prevention Coordinator for your office; or (3) contact the ORMDI Harassment Prevention Program, at 1-888-566-3982, option 3. For TDD/TTY needs, dial 711 and provide 711 services with ORMDI line 888-566-3982 (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time)
