Kevin M. Hollenbeck

Dr. Hollenbeck has over four decades of research and evaluation experience in the areas of workforce development, workers compensation and vocational rehabilitation programs, and education and training.

He has been director and principal investigator of several large, multi-year evaluation projects relying on primary data (School to Work, WIRED, Kansas City Scholars Program). In these projects, he oversaw the evaluation design, survey data collection, and analyses phases of the projects. Dr. Hollenbeck has also pioneered the use of linked administrative data to estimate the net impact, costs, and benefits of statewide workforce development programs. He conducted studies of this kind in the states of Washington, Virginia, and Indiana. Finally, Dr. Hollenbeck has recently written policy papers on how the SSI program can better serve transition youth and on early intervention strategies for the SSDI program.
