Thomas Grosvenor Egerton, 2nd Earl of Wilton of Wilton Castle was born on 30 December 1799.2 He was the son of Robert Grosvenor, 1st Marquess of Westminster and Lady Eleanor Egerton.2 He married, firstly, Lady Mary Margaret Stanley, daughter of Edward Smith-Stanley, 12th Earl of Derby and Eliza Farren, on 29 November 1821.2 He married, secondly, Isabella Smith, daughter of Major Elton Smith, on 12 September 1863.2 He died on 7 March 1882 at age 82.2
He was given the name of Thomas Grosvenor at birth.2 He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Wilton of Wilton Castle, co.
