Isabel de Bruce was the daughter of Robert le Brus, 1st Lord Brus.2 She married, firstly, Sir Roger Bertram, son of Simon Bertram and Agnes (?), before 1272.1 She married, secondly, Robert (I) de Neville, Lord of Raby, son of Geoffrey (VII) de Neville and Joan de Monmouth, before 13 April 1273.1 She married, thirdly, Sir John FitzMarmaduke before 8 May 1285.1 She died after 18 May 1315.1
From before 1272, her married name became Bertram.1 From before 8 May 1285, her married name became FitzMarmaduke.1

Sir Roger Bertram was born on 5 December 1224.2 He was the son of Simon Bertram and Agnes (?)2 He married Isabel de Bruce, daughter of Robert le Brus, 1st Lord Brus, before 1272.1 He died after 6 March 1271/72, without legitimate male issue.2
On 28 June 1246 he had livery of his inheritance.2 On 13 September 1257 he had a grant of free warren in his demesne lands in Mitford and Felton, but the following November, the escheator was ordered to take his lands into the King's hand.2 On 17 January 1257/58 he was summoned to King Henry III's Parliament by writ, but Cokayne holds that this did not create a barony by writ.2 He fought in the Battle of Northampton on 3 April 1264, where he sided with the Barons against the King,was taken prisoner, and realeased soon after.2 He fought in the Battle of Lewes on 14 May 1264.2 He lived at Mitford, Northumberland, EnglandG.3
