     Marie Helene Elisabeth Viktoria Theophana von Sachsen was born on 5 April 1983 at Palm Beach, Florida, U.S.A.^G. She is the daughter of Hermann von Sachsen and Theophana Aladjov.

     Konrad I Graf von Hohenlohe-Brauneck was the son of Heinrich von Hohenlohe and Adelheid von Gundelfingen auf der Brenz.¹ He married Patrissa von Büdingen, daughter of Gerlach II Herr von Büdingen.² He died in 1249.¹
     He was a member of the House of Hohenlohe.¹ He gained the title of Graf der Romagna between 1230 and 1236.¹ He gained the title of Graf von Molise in 1229/30.¹ He was also known as Konrad von Brauneck as of 1240.¹

     Her married name became Portman. After her marriage, Dorothy Marie Isolde Sheffield was styled as Viscountess Portman of Bryanston on 2 November 1946.

     Kraft I von Hohenlohe-Weikersheim was born in 1240.² He was the son of Gottfried I Graf von Hohenlohe and Richza von Krautheim.¹ He married, firstly, Willebirg von Wertheim, daughter of Boppo III Graf von Wertheim.² He married, secondly, Margareta von Truhendingen, daughter of Friedrich I Graf von Truhendingen, circa 1280.² He married, thirdly, Agnes von Württemberg, daughter of Ulrich I Graf von Württemberg and Matilde von Baden, before 3 July 1295.² He died on 19 September 1312.¹
     He was also known as Kraft in Weikersheim as of 1252.¹ He held the office of Reichslandvogt between 1274 and 1279.²

     Gerald Berkeley Portman, 7th Viscount Portman of Bryanston was born on 23 January 1875.¹ He was the son of William Henry Berkeley Portman, 2nd Viscount Portman of Bryanston and Hon. Mary Selina Charlotte FitzWilliam.² He married Dorothy Marie Isolde Sheffield, daughter of Sir Robert Sheffield, 5th Bt. and Priscilla Isabel Laura Dumaresq, on 16 July 1902.¹ He died on 3 September 1948 at age 73.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1901 in the 10th Hussars.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Viceroy of India between 1901 and 1902.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was director of Alliance Assurance between 1923 and 1926.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baron Portman of Orchard Portman, co. Michael Berkeley Portman was born on 20 January 1906.¹ He was the son of Gerald Berkeley Portman, 7th Viscount Portman of Bryanston and Dorothy Marie Isolde Sheffield.¹ He married, firstly, Madelaine June Charles, daughter of David Charles, on 1 September 1930.¹ He and Madelaine June Charles were divorced in 1938.¹ He married, secondly, Marjorie Kerr Harris, daughter of Frederick William Harris, on 11 October 1938.¹ He died on 25 October 1959 at age 53.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer between 1940 and 1945 in the Fleet Air Arm, minesweepers, ATA and small vessels pool.¹

     Madelaine June Charles was the daughter of David Charles.¹ She married Hon. Michael Berkeley Portman, son of Gerald Berkeley Portman, 7th Viscount Portman of Bryanston and Dorothy Marie Isolde Sheffield, on 1 September 1930.¹ She and Hon. Michael Berkeley Portman were divorced in 1938.¹ She died on 16 September 1947.¹
     Madelaine June Charles usually went by her middle name of June.¹ Her married name became Portman.

     Edward Henry Berkeley Portman, 9th Viscount Portman of Bryanston was born on 22 April 1934 at Dorset, England^G.¹ He was the son of Hon. Michael Berkeley Portman and Madelaine June Charles.¹ He married, firstly, Rosemary Joy Farris, daughter of Charles Farris, on 26 September 1956.¹ He and Rosemary Joy Farris were divorced in 1965.¹ He married, secondly, Penelope Anne Hassard Allin, daughter of Trevor Robert William Allin, on 31 March 1966.¹ He died on 5 May 1999 at age 65.¹

     Penelope Anne Hassard Allin is the daughter of Trevor Robert William Allin.¹ She married, firstly, Edward Henry Berkeley Portman, 9th Viscount Portman of Bryanston, son of Hon. Michael Berkeley Portman and Madelaine June Charles, on 31 March 1966.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Christopher Peile Thompson, 6th Bt., son of Sir Peile Thompson, 5th Bt. and Barbara Johnson Rampling, on 10 December 2001.¹
     Her married name became Portman. After her marriage, Penelope Anne Hassard Allin was styled as Viscountess Portman of Bryanston on 3 November 1967. From 10 December 2001, her married name became Thompson. She lived in 2003 at Clock Mill, Clifford, Herefordshire, England.¹
