George Chapple Norton and Caroline Elizabeth Sarah Sheridan.2 He married Maria Chiara Elisa Federigo, daughter of Signor unknown Federigo, on 1 August 1854.2 He died on 24 July 1877 at age 45.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield, co. York [G.B., 1782] on 28 August 1875.2

     John Richard Brinsley Norton, 5th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield was born on 1 October 1855 at Florence, Italy.2,3 He was the son of Thomas Brinsley Norton, 4th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield and Maria Chiara Elisa Federigo.2 He married Katharine Buckner McVickar, daughter of Commodore William Henry McVickar, on 5 November 1879.2 He married, secondly, Alice Jones, daughter of Thomas Heron Jones, 7th Viscount of Ranelagh, in 1899.3 He died on 5 August 1943 at age 87.2
     He was given the name of Giovannia Richard Brinsley Norton at birth.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the Middlesex Yeomanry cavalry.2 He succeeded as the 5th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield, co. York [G.B., 1782] on 24 July 1877.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Yorkshire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Yorkshire.2

Charles Francis Norton and Maria Louisa Campbell, on 22 June 1870.1 She and Major Charles Grantley Campbell Norton were divorced on 4 November 1879.1 She married, secondly, John Richard Brinsley Norton, 5th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield, son of Thomas Brinsley Norton, 4th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield and Maria Chiara Elisa Federigo, on 5 November 1879.2 She died on 17 February 1897.1
     From 22 June 1870, her married name became Norton.

     Major Charles Grantley Campbell Norton was born on 23 May 1835.1 He was the son of Hon. Charles Francis Norton and Maria Louisa Campbell.1 He married, firstly, Katharine Buckner McVickar, daughter of Commodore William Henry McVickar, on 22 June 1870.1 He and Katharine Buckner McVickar were divorced on 4 November 1879.1 He married, secondly, Mary Elizabeth Mina Smith, daughter of John Barnard Smith, on 6 September 1886.1 He died on 10 April 1921 at age 85.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 23rd Royal Welch Fusiliers.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Imperial Ottoman Gendarmerie.1 He was awarded the Military Knight of Windsor.1
