     Betty Violet Esther Ewart was born on 20 November 1894. She is the daughter of Herbert Brisbane Ewart and Lady Mary Napier Gore.

     Louisa Augusta Napier was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir William Francis Patrick Napier and Caroline Amelia Fox.² She married Patrick Leonard McDougall, son of Sir Duncan McDougall, on 15 July 1844.¹ She died on 8 September 1856.¹
     Her married name became McDougall.

     Patrick Leonard McDougall is the son of Sir Duncan McDougall.¹ He married Louisa Augusta Napier, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir William Francis Patrick Napier and Caroline Amelia Fox, on 15 July 1844.¹

     Pamela Adelaide Napier was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir William Francis Patrick Napier and Caroline Amelia Fox.² She married Philip William Skynner Miles, son of Philip John Miles and Clarissa Peach, on 21 December 1846.¹ She died on 21 February 1910.¹
     From 21 December 1846, her married name became Miles.

     Philip William Skynner Miles was born in 1816.² He was the son of Philip John Miles and Clarissa Peach.³ He was baptised in 1817 at St. Andrews, Clifton, Bristol, England.² He married Pamela Adelaide Napier, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir William Francis Patrick Napier and Caroline Amelia Fox, on 21 December 1846.¹ He died on 1 October 1881.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He lived at Kingsweston, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bristol.¹

     Philip Napier Miles was born in 1865. He was the son of Philip William Skynner Miles and Pamela Adelaide Napier. He married Sybil Margurite Gonne de Hochepied Larpent, daughter of Arthur John de Hochepied Larpent, 8th Baron de Hochepied Larpent and Catherine Mary Melville, on 1 February 1899 at Marylebone, London, England.¹ He died on 19 July 1935.
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1916.¹

     Sybil Margurite Gonne de Hochepied Larpent was born circa 1868 at Steyning, Sussex, England.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur John de Hochepied Larpent, 8th Baron de Hochepied Larpent and Catherine Mary Melville.¹ She married Philip Napier Miles, son of Philip William Skynner Miles and Pamela Adelaide Napier, on 1 February 1899 at Marylebone, London, England.¹ She died in 1948 at Bristol, England.¹
     Her married name became Miles.

     Norah Creina Blanche Napier was born circa 1827.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir William Francis Patrick Napier and Caroline Amelia Fox.¹ She married Henry Austin Bruce, 1st Baron Aberdare of Duffryn, son of John Bruce Bruce-Pryce and Sarah Austin, on 17 August 1854.¹ She died on 27 April 1897 at Pen Pole House, Shirehampton, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ She was buried on 30 April 1897 at Mountain Ash, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹
     Her married name became Bruce. After her marriage, Norah Creina Blanche Napier was styled as Baroness Aberdare of Duffryn on 23 August 1873.

     Lt.-Col. Edmond Somerville Forestier Walker was born on 10 May 1860.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. George Edmund Lushington Walker and Camilla Georgina Calder.² He married Ellen Mary Camilla Fenton, daughter of Major F. A. Fenton, in 1887.¹ He died on 29 November 1922 at age 62.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He had another daughter who died young.¹
