Sir George Ayscough Armytage, 7th Bt. was born on 2 March 1872.2 He was the son of Sir George John Armytage, 6th Bt. and Ellen Fawkes.1 He married Aimée Milborne-Swinnerton-Pilkington, daughter of Sir Lionel Milborne-Swinnerton-Pilkington, 11th Bt. and Isabella Elizabeth Georgiana Kinleside, on 12 July 1899.2 He died on 15 August 1953 at age 81.

Sir Lionel Milborne-Swinnerton-Pilkington, 11th Bt. was born on 7 July 1835.2 He was the son of Sir William Pilkington, 8th Bt. and Mary Milborne-Swinnerton-Pilkington.2 He married Isabella Elizabeth Georgiana Kinleside, daughter of Reverend Charles Gradwicke Raikes Kinleside and Elizabeth Charlotte Jemima Brydges, on 3 February 1857.2 He died on 25 June 1901 at age 65.2
He was given the name of Lionel Pilkington at birth.2 He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Yorkshire.2 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Pilkington, of Stanley, near Wakefield and Nether Bradley, also co.
