     Thomas Henry Burroughes was baptised on 10 January 1834 at St. Peter, Burlingham, Norfolk, England.¹ He was the son of Reverend Jeremiah Burroughes and Pleasance Preston.¹ He married, firstly, Hon. Edith Galfrida Powys, daughter of Thomas Atherton Powys, 3rd Baron Lilford of Lilford and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Fox, on 20 April 1858 at Oundle, Northamptonshire, England.¹ He married, secondly, Susan Helen Watts-Russell, daughter of Jesse David Watts-Russell and Mary Nevill Wright, in 1869 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.¹ He died on 17 January 1924 at age 90.

     John Nicholas Fazakerley was the son of John Nicholas Fazakerley.¹ He married Hon. Georgiana Caroline Powys, daughter of Thomas Atherton Powys, 3rd Baron Lilford of Lilford and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Fox, on 28 April 1859.¹ He died on 21 April 1909.¹

     General Hon. Henry Edward Fox was born on 4 March 1755.^3,2 He was the son of Henry Fox, 1st Baron Holland of Foxley and Georgiana Carolina Lennox, Lady Holland, Baroness of Holland.⁴ He married Marianne Clayton, daughter of William Clayton and Maria Eliza Catherine Lloyd, on 14 February 1786.⁵ He died on 18 July 1811 at age 56.^4,2
     He held the office of Governor of Gibraltar.² He held the office of Governor of Minorca.² He gained the rank of Colonel in the 16th Foot.⁴ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.⁶
     

     Marianne Clayton was the daughter of William Clayton and Maria Eliza Catherine Lloyd.² She married General Hon. Henry Edward Fox, son of Henry Fox, 1st Baron Holland of Foxley and Georgiana Carolina Lennox, Lady Holland, Baroness of Holland, on 14 February 1786.¹ She died on 15 October 1808.¹
     From 14 February 1786, her married name became Fox.

     Penelope Fleur Clayton was born in 1977.¹ She is the daughter of Dr. Anthony Hugh Le Quesne Clayton and Judith Mary Blackstone.¹
