     Renold Archibald McKenzie was born circa 1914 at New Zealand.¹ He was the son of Duncan McKenzie and Maria Florena Spencer.¹ He died on 2 June 1941 at Crete, Greece, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lance Corporal in the 18th Auckland Battalion, New Zealand Expeditionary Force.¹
