Sir Arthur Meyrick Hollins, 2nd Bt. was born on 16 July 1876.1 He was the son of Sir Frank Hollins, 1st Bt. and Dora Emily Susan Cox.1 He married Mary Prudence Thwaites, daughter of John Thwaites, on 20 February 1908.1 He died on 30 July 1938 at age 62.1
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lancashire.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hollins, of Greyfriars, Preston, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1907] on 27 January 1924.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Lancashire in 1928.1
