Anne Elizabeth Liddell.¹ He married Isabella Henrietta Shipperdson, daughter of Edmund H. Shipperdson, on 20 April 1871.¹ He died on 4 March 1877 at age 43, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 60th Rifles.¹

     Isabella Henrietta Shipperdson was the daughter of Edmund H. Shipperdson.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Charles Williamson, son of Sir Hedworth Williamson, 7th Bt. and Hon. Anne Elizabeth Liddell, on 20 April 1871.¹ She died in 1874.¹
     From 20 April 1871, her married name became Williamson.¹
