Bernard II Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg was the son of Friedrich Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Magdalene von Hohenzollern.1 He married Mathilde von Holstein-Schauenburg, daughter of Otto II Graf von Holstein-Schauenburg-Pinneburg and Elisabeth Gräfin von Hohenstein, circa 1463. He died on 9 February 1464.
He was a member of the House of Guelph.1 He succeeded as the Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg in 1458.1

She married Bernard II Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, son of Friedrich Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Magdalene von Hohenzollern, circa 1463. She married Wilhelm I Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, son of Heinrich I Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Sophie von Pommern, circa 1466. She died on 22 July 1468.
