     Captain Charles Cadwaladr Trevor-Roper was born on 9 February 1884.1 He was the son of George Edward Trevor-Roper and Harriette Trevor-Roper.1,2 He married Gertrude Alice Clabby, daughter of William George Clabby and Alice Nash Leahy, on 8 April 1913.1 He died on 3 August 1917 at age 33, from wounds received in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 5th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Hampshire Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He lived at Plas Teg, Flintshire, WalesG.3

     Gertrude Alice Clabby was born on 19 June 1891.2 She was the daughter of William George Clabby and Alice Nash Leahy.3,2 She was baptised on 26 July 1891 at Ahmednagar, Bombay, India.2 She married, firstly, Captain Charles Cadwaladr Trevor-Roper, son of George Edward Trevor-Roper and Harriette Trevor-Roper, on 8 April 1913.4 She married, secondly, Major Robert Hugh Poyntz, son of Reverend Newdigate Poyntz and Margaret Julia Sweeting, on 24 February 1925.1 She died on 28 February 1962 at age 70.1
     From 8 April 1913, her married name became Trevor-Roper. From 24 February 1925, her married name became Poyntz.

     William George Clabby was born in 1863.2 He married, firstly, Alice Nash Leahy, daughter of John Leahy, on 8 December 1888 at Nasik, Bombay, India.2 He married, secondly, Violet Trevor-Roper, daughter of George Edward Trevor-Roper and Harriette Trevor-Roper, on 20 November 1907.3 He died on 20 October 1924.3
     He was in the Indian Police.3

     Major Robert Hugh Poyntz was born on 10 October 1883.1 He was the son of Reverend Newdigate Poyntz and Margaret Julia Sweeting.2,1 He married Gertrude Alice Clabby, daughter of William George Clabby and Alice Nash Leahy, on 24 February 1925.1 He died on 11 October 1931 at age 48.1
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Major in the King's Shropshire Light Infantry.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was an Adjutant at Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London, EnglandG.1

Richard Dacre Trevor-Roper was born on 19 May 1915.1 He was the son of Captain Charles Cadwaladr Trevor-Roper and Gertrude Alice Clabby.1 He married Patricia Audrey Edwards, daughter of Richard Barrie Edwards, on 5 September 1942.1 He died on 31 March 1944 at age 28, killed in action over Germany.1
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in August 1935 in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Pilot Officer on 24 October 1941, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Medal (D.F.M.) on 23 December 1941.1 He gained the rank of Flying Officer on 1 October 1942.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.) on 28 May 1943.1 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant on 24 October 1943.1

     From 5 September 1942, her married name became Trevor-Roper. From 1949, her married name became Marvin. From 1955, her married name became Straight. She lived in 2003 at 292 Reading Road, Winnersh, Berkshire, England.1
