     Reverend Devereux Spratt was born on 1 May 1620 at Stratton-upon-the-Fosse, Somerset, England.1 He was the son of Reverend Thomas Spratt and Elizabeth Cooke.1 He married Mary Palgrave Cubitt, daughter of James Cubitt, on 6 April 1660.1 He died in 1688 at Mitchelstown, County Cork, Ireland.1
     He lived at Castleisland, County Kerry, Ireland.1
