Major Arthur Dalrymple Forbes-Gordon was born on 29 September 1873.2 He was the son of Arthur Newton Forbes-Gordon and Christian Dalrymple. He married Dorothy Ione Helen Eden, daughter of Frederick Morton Eden and Fanny Helen Barrett-Lennard, on 1 January 1902.3 He died on 16 May 1931 at age 57.2

Arthur Ewan Forbes-Dalrymple of Greenknowe was born on 22 October 1912.1 He was the son of Major Arthur Dalrymple Forbes-Gordon and Dorothy Ione Helen Eden.2 He married Aimée Stephanie Ilona Antonia Gräfin von Colloredo-Mels, daughter of Friedrich Graf von Colloredo-Mels, on 3 November 1955.1 He died on 29 May 1970 at age 57 at Corsica, FranceG, without issue.1
