Brig.-Gen. Gilbert Burrell Spencer Follett was the son of John Skirrow Follett and Blanche Katherine K. Hayley.2,3 He married Lady Mildred Murray, daughter of Charles Adolphus Murray, 7th Earl of Dunmore and Lady Gertrude Coke, on 30 June 1904.2 He died on 27 September 1918, killed in action.2
