Violet Mabel Hanson was born on 19 January 1878.2 She was the daughter of Sir Reginald Hanson, 1st Bt. and Constance Hallett Bingley.1,3 She married Frederick Henry Keeling Durlacher on 7 February 1899.1 She died on 5 October 1968 at age 90.2

Sir Reginald Hanson, 1st Bt. was born on 31 May 1840 at 47 Botolph Lane, London, England.2 He was the son of Samuel Hanson and Mary Choppin Machin.2 He married Constance Hallett Bingley, daughter of Charles Bentley Bingley, on 10 May 1866.3 He died on 18 April 1905 at age 64 at Florence, Italy.2
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Westmisnter and London.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the Tower HAmlets.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the Tower Hamlets.3 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He was appointed Knight.3 He held the office of Lord Mayor of London between 1886 and 1887.1 He was created 1st Baronet Hanson [U.K.] on 6 June 1887.
