     Sir Thomas Gresham was the son of William Gresham and Beatrice Guybon.1 He married Mary Lennard, daughter of John Lennard, on 23 August 1587.1 He died on 1 July 1630.1
     He was educated at St. Alban Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was appointed Knight on 23 July 1603.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gatton in 1604.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gatton in 1614.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gatton in 1621.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bletchingley in 1625.1

     Mary Lennard was the daughter of John Lennard.1 She married, firstly, Guildford Walsingham, son of Sir Thomas Walsingham and Dorothy Guildford.1 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Gresham, son of William Gresham and Beatrice Guybon, on 23 August 1587.1 She died on 2 December 1620.1
     Her married name became Walsingham.1 From 23 August 1587, her married name became Gresham.1

Sir Edmund Walsingham1

     Sir Edmund Walsingham was born before 1480.1 He was the son of James Walsingham and Eleanor Writtle.1 He married, firstly, Catherine Gunter, daughter of John Gunter, before 1510.1 He married, secondly, Anne Jerningham, daughter of Sir Edward Jerningham and Margaret Bedingfield, before 1543.1 He died on 10 February 1550.1
     He was appointed Knight on 13 September 1513.1 He held the office of Lieutenant of the Tower between 1521 and 1543.1 He was Vice-Chamberlain of the Household of Queen Catherine Parr.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Surrey in 1545.1 He lived at Scadbury, Kent, England.1
