     He gained the rank of Captain.1 He fought in the Zulu War between 1878 and 1879.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He was Assistant Embarkation Staff Officer between 1914 and 1919.1 He was King's Messenger, War Office in 1919.1

     Lt.-Col. Brooke Southwell Edward Algernon Fulke Greville was born on 2 June 1882.1 He was the son of Brooke Southwell Greville and Charlotte Priscilla Clough.1 He married Olive Lois Denton, daughter of John Punshon Denton, on 7 July 1912.1 He died on 19 May 1956 at age 73, without issue.1
     He fought in the First World War, in Mesopotamia and Persia.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.1 He fought in the 3rd Afghan War in 1919.1 He fought in the Waziristan Campaign between 1919 and 1924.1
