Sir Andrew Cosmo Lewis Duff Gordon, 8th Bt. was born on 17 October 1933.1 He was the son of Sir Douglas Frederick Duff Gordon, 7th Bt. and Gladys Rosemary Henry.2 He married, firstly, Grania Mary Villiers-Stuart, daughter of FitzGerald Villiers-Stuart, on 2 September 1967.1 He and Grania Mary Villiers-Stuart were divorced in 1975.1 He married, secondly, Eveline Virginia Soames, daughter of Lt.-Col. Samuel Soames and Margaret Dolan, on 18 December 1975.1 He died on 24 April 2023 at age 89.3
He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Suez Campaign between 1953 and 1954.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Worcester Regiment and 1st Battalion, 22nd Cheshire Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Duff, of Halkin, co. Sir Douglas Frederick Duff Gordon, 7th Bt. was born on 12 September 1892.2 He was the son of Sir Henry William Duff Gordon, 6th Bt. and Maud Emily Hammersley.2 He married Gladys Rosemary Henry, daughter of Colonel Vivian Henry, on 31 March 1932.2 He died on 15 March 1964 at age 71.2

Charles Swinfen Eady, 1st Baron Swinfen was born on 31 July 1851.1 He was the son of George John Eady and Laura Maria Smith.2 He married Blanche Maude Lee, daughter of Sydney Williams Lee, on 6 September 1894.1 He died on 15 November 1919 at age 68.1
