     Josephine Armstrong is the daughter of George Nathan Armstrong.1 She married, firstly, Erskine Gwynne, son of Edward Erskine Gwynne and Helen Steele, in 1926.2 She and Erskine Gwynne were divorced in 1932.2 She married, secondly, Hugh William Osbert Molyneux, 7th Earl of Sefton, son of Osbert Cecil Molyneux, 6th Earl of Sefton and Lady Helena Mary Bridgeman, on 9 December 1941.1
     She was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1 From 1926, her married name became Gwynne.2 From 9 December 1941, her married name became Molyneux. After her marriage, Josephine Armstrong was styled as Countess of Sefton on 9 December 1941.

     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.1

     Lt.-Col. John Halket Crawford married Lady Gertrude Eleanor Molyneux, daughter of William Philip Molyneux, 4th Earl of Sefton and Hon. Cecil Emily Jolliffe, on 25 April 1905.1 He died on 23 September 1936.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.1
