     Betty Knox was born circa 1913.2 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Andrew Board Stephenson Clarke, son of Douglas Wellwood Clarke and Mary Louisa Twiss, in 1938.1 She married, secondly, Paul Reginald Grotrian, son of Major Harold Hunter Grotrian and Phyllis Catherine Durrant, on 5 January 1961.3 She died on 8 July 2008.2
     From 1938, her married name became Clarke.1 From 5 January 1961, her married name became Grotrian.3

     Vice-Admiral Guy Ouchterlony Twiss was born on 19 October 1834 at Mauritius.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. John Twiss and Louisa Bridget Ouchterlony.1 He married Margaret Louisa Williams in 1880.1 He died on 7 October 1918 at age 83 at The Cliff, Shanklin, Isle of Wight, England.1
     He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1897.1
