     Catharine Malcolm Armstrong is the daughter of Edward Armstrong.1 She married General Charles Hayes Abdy, son of Lt.-Col. James Nicholas Abdy and Georgina Charlotte King, on 9 April 1846.1
     From 9 April 1846, her married name became Abdy.1

     Amy Charlotte Abdy was the daughter of General Charles Hayes Abdy and Catharine Malcolm Armstrong.1 She married Colonel Charles William Brereton, son of Reverend John Brereton, on 21 February 1870.1 She died in 1930 at Villa des Roses, Vevey, Switzerland.2
     From 21 February 1870, her married name became Brereton.1
