Sir Francis Masham, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1646.1 He was the son of William Masham and Jane Trevor.1 He married, firstly, Mary Scott, daughter of Sir William Scott, 1st Bt., on 1 November 1666.1 He married, secondly, Damaris Cudworth, daughter of Ralph Cudworth, on 25 June 1685.1 He died on 7 February 1723.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Masham [E., 1621]. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Essex between 1690 and 1698.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Essex between 1701 and 1710.1

Samuel Masham, 2nd Baron Masham of Otes was born in November 1712.1 He was the son of Samuel Masham, 1st Baron Masham of Otes and Abigail Hill. He married, secondly, Charlotte Dives, daughter of John Dives.1 He married, firstly, Harriet Winnington, daughter of Salwey Winnington and Anne Foley, on 16 October 1736.1 He died on 14 June 1776 at age 63, without issue.1
He was educated at Westminster School, London, England.1 He was Auditor-General of the household of George, Prince of Wales.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Masham [E., 1621] on 16 October 1758. He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Masham of Otes [G.B., 1712] on 16 October 1758. On his death, his titles became extinct.1
