     Alan Payan Pryce-Jones was born on 18 November 1908 at London, England.^1,2 He was the son of Colonel Henry Morris Pryce-Jones and Marion Vere Dawnay.² He married, firstly, Baroness Thérèse Fould-Springer, daughter of Baron Eugène Fould-Springer, on 28 December 1934 at Royaumont, Paris.^1,2 He married, secondly, Mary Jean Kempner Thorne in 1968.² He died on 22 January 2000 at age 91 at Galveston, Texas, U.S.A.^1,2
     He wrote the book The Bonus of Laughter, published 1987.²
