     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.¹ He was an author and racing journalist.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was editor of British Racehorse.¹

     John Somerville Livingstone-Learmonth was born on 16 December 1919.¹ He was the son of Major Maxwell John Livingstone-Learmonth and Ella Florence Hargreaves.¹ He died on 18 May 1940 at age 20 at Belgium, killed in action.¹

     Somerville Travers Alexander Livingstone-Learmonth was born on 28 November 1904 at Havant, Hampshire, England.^1,2 He was the son of Somerville Reid Livingstone-Learmonth and Isabella Travers.¹ He married Cecily Grace Drage, daughter of Lt.-Col. Godfrey Drage, on 9 September 1931.¹ He died on 8 November 1984 at age 79 at Northampton, Northamptonshire, England.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1927 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Battalion, Royal Welch Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) and bar.¹ He was director of J. W. Greaves and Sons Ltd.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Caernarvonshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1960.¹

     Cecily Grace Drage was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Godfrey Drage.¹ She married Somerville Travers Alexander Livingstone-Learmonth, son of Somerville Reid Livingstone-Learmonth and Isabella Travers, on 9 September 1931.¹ She died on 19 May 1952.¹
     From 9 September 1931, her married name became Livingstone-Learmonth.¹

     Lt.-Col. Godfrey Drage held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Cae Terfyn, Criccieth, Caernarvonshire, Wales.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Jean Alison Livingstone-Learmonth was born on 9 November 1933.¹ She is the daughter of Somerville Travers Alexander Livingstone-Learmonth and Cecily Grace Drage.¹
     She graduated from Girton College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ She was educated at Royal College of Music, London, England.¹

     Commander Cecil James Reid Livingstone-Learmonth was born on 5 February 1868.¹ He was the son of Somerville Livingstone-Learmonth and Maria Katherine Reid.¹ He died in September 1939 at age 71.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Manchester regiment.¹ He fought in the Benin River Expedition in 1894.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹ He discovered the North Nigerian tin-fields.¹ He was chairman of Kaduna Ltd and Prospectors Ltd.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1915.¹
