     Admiral Alexander Wilmot Schomberg was born on 24 February 1774.1 He was the son of Captain Sir Alexander Schomberg and Arabella Susanna Chalmers.1 He married Anna Stepney, daughter of Stepney Rawson Stepney.2 He married Anne Smith, daughter of Rear-Admiral Richard Smith and Anne Gordon, on 1 October 1804.2 He died in 1850.1
     He wrote the book Practical Remarks on the Building, Rigging, and Equipping of Warships, published 1832.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in 1849.1

     Captain Sir Alexander Schomberg was born in 1720.1 He was the son of Meyer Löw Schomberg.1 He married Arabella Susanna Chalmers, daughter of Reverend James Chalmers and Arabella Aleyn, in August 1763.1 He died on 19 March 1804 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1
     He was appointed Knight in 1777.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He wrote the book A Sea Manual recommended to the Young Officers of the Royal Navy as a Companion to the Signal-book, published 1789.1

     Rear-Admiral Herbert Schomberg was born on 19 December 1803 at Neston, Cheshire, England.2 He was the son of Admiral Alexander Wilmot Schomberg and Anna Stepney.1,2 He was baptised on 28 February 1804 at Neston, Cheshire, England.2 He married Sarah Bayton, daughter of Reverend William Stevens Bayton and Martha Guy, on 18 April 1844 at Church of St. Mary, Aldingbourn, Sussex, England.2 He died in 1867.1
