     Helen Heriot is the daughter of Robert Heriot of Lymphoy and Helen Swinton.² She married, firstly, Sir Thomas Craig, 1st of Riccarton, son of Robert Craig of Craigfintry and Katherine Bellenden.¹ She married, secondly, Sir John Arnot of Berswick.³
     Her married name became Arnot.³ Her married name became Craig.¹

     James Heriot, 6th of Trabroun was born circa 1510 at Scotland.² He was the son of Thomas Heriot.² He married Helen Brown.³ He married Janet Cockburn, daughter of Sir John Cockburn of Ormiston and Alison Sandilands, before 8 August 1531.³ He died on 4 October 1580 at Scotland.²
