     Alexander Cowan McCorquodale was born on 10 March 1858.1 He was the son of George McCorquodale and Louisa Kate Honan.1 He married Maggie Janet Cox, daughter of Alexander Cox, in 1886.1 He died on 10 January 1941 at age 82.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1912.1 He lived at Cound Hall, Shropshire, EnglandG.

     Catherine Gordon was born circa 1798 at Clifton, Bristol, EnglandG.2,3 She was the daughter of John Gordon.1 She married Sir William Miles, 1st Bt., son of Philip John Miles and Maria Whetham, on 12 September 1823.1 She died on 23 March 1869 at Bedminster, Somerset, EnglandG.3
     Her married name became Miles. She lived in 1851 at Abbots Leigh, Somerset, EnglandG.2,3

     Theresa Eliza Stafford Caulfeild was the daughter of Major John Palmer Caulfeild.2 She married, firstly, Captain John Caulfeild, son of John Caulfeild and Anne Lovell Bury, on 4 March 1870.1 She married, secondly, Thomas Hennessy after 1892.3 She died on 3 May 1911.1
     From after 1892, her married name became Hennessy.3

     Major George Richard Browne was born on 10 June 1834.1 He was the son of Hon. Richard Howe Browne and Elizabeth Browne.1 He married Louisa Tyler, daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir George Tyler and Harriet Margaret Sullivan, on 13 June 1857.1 He died in 1901.1
     He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 88th Connaught Rangers.1

     He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Vicar at St. John the Divine, Kensington, London, England.1 He held the office of Canon of Southwark.1 He held the office of Bishop of Bloemfontein between 1935 and 1951.1
