William Latham Baillieu, 2nd Baron Baillieu was born on 10 December 1915.1 He was the son of Clive Latham Baillieu, 1st Baron Baillieu and Ruby Florence Evelyn Clark.1 He married, firstly, Anne Bayliss Page, daughter of Leslie William Page, on 11 August 1945.1 He and Anne Bayliss Page were divorced in 1961.1 He married, secondly, Delia Muriel Wayling-Smith on 10 February 1962.1 He died on 18 April 1973 at age 57, killed in a car accident.1,2
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1937 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1940, where he was invalided.2 He was the assistant master at St. Peter's School, Seaford, Sussex, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1951 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Baillieu, of Sefton, Commonwealth of Australia and of Parkwwod, co.
