James Hackett was the son of Patrick Hackett and Elizabeth Bowers.2 He died between 5 September 1708 and 15 September 1708.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 15 September 1708.1
On 13 January 1685 he had his grandfather's lands restored to him by Letters Patent, described as 'towne and lands of Killedmond and Ballygambon', 'a place called Knockburdon' and 'a castleight gardens and an orchard in the town of ffethard' besides a number of small holdings.1 His last will was dated 5 September 1708.1

Thomas Hackett was the son of Thomas Hackett and Mary Sheppard.2 He married Elizabeth Latham, daughter of John Latham, in 1790.1 He died after 1797, without issue.1
He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1768 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a practising Counsellor-at-Law.1 He was refuted to have been a great gambler at Court of King Louis XV ,and to have dissipated family property.1
