     Christian Livingston was the daughter of Sir William Livingston of Kilsyth and Margaret Ramsay.1 She married James Makgill, 1st Viscount of Oxfuird, son of David Makgill and Mary St. Clair, on 8 July 1646.2 She died in March 1664.2
     From 8 July 1646, her married name became Makgill.2 After her marriage, Christian Livingston was styled as Viscountess of Oxfuird on 19 April 1651.
