John James Gascoyne Harvey was born on 13 August 1892.1 He was the son of John Maclachlan Harvey and Mary Littledale.2 He married, firstly, Ethel Geraldine Pierce, daughter of John Pierce, on 27 July 1917.1 He and Ethel Geraldine Pierce were divorced in 1934.1 He married, secondly, Henrietta Ann Anthony, daughter of Richard Anthony, on 3 November 1939.1 He died on 8 August 1967 at age 74.1
