Auguste Richard Hennessy was born in 1800.1 He is the son of James Hennessy and Martha Martell.2 He married Irène César, daughter of Jean-Baptiste César, Baron d'Anthes, in 1832.1 He died in 1879, with two younger sons (Jacques François, born 1841, d without issue 1929.1
He was Deputy of Charente in 1845.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1887 in the National Guard.1 He held the office of Senator between 1876 and 1879.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.1 He lived at Cognac, France.1
