John Malcolm Younger was born on 15 August 1889.1 He was the son of Sir William Younger, 1st Bt. and Helen Caroline Benyon Gunter.2 He died on 31 August 1918 at age 29, accidentally drowned.1

James Edward George Younger, 5th Viscount Younger was born on 11 November 1955.1 He is the son of George Kenneth Hotson Younger, 4th Viscount Younger of Leckie and Diana Rhona Tuck.2 He married Jennie Veronica Wootton, daughter of William Edward James Wootton, on 4 June 1988.1
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He graduated from St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He graduated from Henley Management College, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)1 He was personnel manager for Coats Viyella plc between 1979 and 1984.1 He was consultant for Angela Mortimer plc between 1984 and 1986.1 He was director of MacInnes Younger Ltd between 1992 and 1994.1 He was director of Union Bank of Switzerland in 1994.1 He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers in 1997.1 He was registered as a MCIM.1 He lived in 2003 at The Old Vicarage, Dorton, Buckinghamshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Younger of Leckie, of Alloa, co. Clackmannan [U.K., 1923] on 26 January 2003.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Younger, of Leckie, co. Clackmannan [U.K., 1911] on 26 January 2003.1
