     Haughton Ealdred Okeover was born on 10 May 1875.1 He was the son of Haughton Charles Okeover and Hon. Eliza Anne Cavendish.2,1 He married Anne Wilberforce Simpson, daughter of Joseph Simpson, on 2 March 1922.1 He died on 22 January 1955 at age 79 at Shardlow, Derbyshire, England, without issue.3,1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Derbyshire in 1900.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1901.1 He gained the rank of Captain between 1908 and 1909 in the 4th North Midland Ammunition Column, 4th North Midland (Howitzer) Brigade Royal Air Force (TF.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1914 in the 6th Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire in 1917.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre du Mérite Agricole France.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Derbyshire in 1928.1 He lived at Okeover, Staffordshire, England.1

Eliza Anne Cavendish.2 She married, firstly, Sir Andrew Barclay Walker, 1st Bt., son of Peter Walker and Mary Carlaw, on 11 October 1887.1 She married, secondly, John Frederick Lort Phillips, son of Richard Ilbert Lort Phillips, on 30 July 1895.2 She died on 1 May 1943, without issue.1
     She held the office of Maid of Honour to HM Queen Victoria.1 From 11 October 1887, her married name became Walker.1 From 30 July 1895, her married name became Lort Phillips.
